general synoptic situation:

A complex low 992 over the Lofoten Islands weakens. A secondary 

low 995 over southern Sweden moves towards the Baltic States and 

deepens into a gale. A high 1025 west of the Iberian Peninsula 

moves towards the Celtic Sea while weakening slightly. A ridge 

extends towards Scotland and expands to the Norwegian Sea. 

Another ridge over the Alps hardly changes.

visibility.

Southwestern North Sea:
