general synoptic situation:

A deep low 978 over northern Sweden is moving towards the Barents

Sea while weakening. A trough is moving from the southern part of

the Baltic Sea towards the Gulf of Riga while weakening. A high 

1032 northeast of the Azores is weakening. A ridge extending to 

the Faroe Islands is moving towards Germany, from where it will 

intensify and build towards the Baltic States on Friday. A deep 

low 968 over the Irminger Sea is moving towards the sea area east

of Iceland while weakening. Its frontal system will reach the 

North Sea on Friday.

German Bight:

wind: northwest 6 to 7, decreasing slowly 4 to 5.

visibility/weather: at times rain- or snow showers with moderate 

visibility.

sea: northern part first 6 meter, otherwise decreasing 3 meter.

Southwestern North Sea:

wind: northwest 6, humber first locally 7, later shifting west to

southwest and decreasing about 3.

visibility/weather: shower with moderate visibility, locally 

thunderstorms.
