general synoptic situation:	

A complex low 991 over Lake Ladoga moves to Lapland and deepens. 

Several troughs move southeast from the North Sea into the Baltic

Sea. A low 995 Norwegian Sea moves to the Halten Bank and 

weakens. A high 1025 south of Ireland weakens. From this, a ridge

extends to the Alps. Starting the night to Tuesday, a secondary 

low 1000 will move from Skagerrak to Gotland while deepening.
