general synoptic situation:

A low 991 near the Kola Peninsula hardly changes. A secondary low

1007 over the Skagerrak moves towards Latvia while deepening. A 

high 1027 over Iceland moves towards the British Isles while 

weakening. A ridge swings from the southern Baltic Sea to Poland.

In the course of today, an independent high 1010 develops over 

the Baltic States, which moves towards Russia. Over night a new 

secondary low 1006 will develop in Skagerrak and move to the 

central Baltic Sea while deepening.
