general synoptic situation:	

A slightly filling low 984 at the Kola Peninsula is heading 

southward. An extensive high-pressure zone 1037 between Scotland 

to western Ukraine intensifies while shifting west a little. Due 

to merge with another Atlantic high, the new center of the high 

1040 will be situated south of Iceland, intensifying. A 

multi-core low 1006 extending from Portugal to Balearic Islands 

is gradually filling.
