general synoptic situation:	

A low 983 over northern Sweden is moving towards the Barents Sea 

while weakening. A trough is moving from the southern part of the

Baltic Sea towards the Gulf of Riga while weakening. A high 1032 

northeast of the Azores is weakening. A ridge extending to the 

Faroe Islands is moving towards Germany, from where it will 

intensify and build towards the Baltic States on Friday. A deep 

low 966 over the Irminger Sea is moving towards the sea area east

of Iceland while weakening. Its frontal system will reach the 

North Sea on Friday.
