general synoptic situation:	

A low 989 over northern Finland is moving towards the Barents Sea

while weakening. A high 1036 northeast of the Azores is moving 

east. A ridge extending to Poland will expand until Western 

Russia on Friday while moving southwards. A deep low 970 over the

Irminger Sea is moving towards the Norwegian Sea while weakening.

Its frontal system will move across the North Sea until early 

saturday.
